Kai Feng Fu is a great spot for a quick and affordable meal, especially if you love dumplings. For $5-10, you can easily get a full meal. The service is impressively fast, with pan-fried dumplings coming out in seconds. Their scallion pancakes are crispy and packed with flavor, making them a perfect side dish. The restaurant has a few tables inside, but it's more of a grab-and-go place. Although they say it's cash only under $10, some friends have told me otherwise, so it's worth double-checking. All in all, it's a go-to for quick, delicious eats!

At the price of $2.50 for 6 pan fried pork and chive dumplings, you can't go wrong! It's a very quick and cost effective meal. The dumplings' filling lacked some flavor and were definitely on the oily side but they were great to eat quickly on the go. The restaurant is small but clean and the service was prompt and friendly.

This is by far my favorite fried dumpling shop in Brooklyn. The dumplings are insanely addicting, but it's the sauce that really ties everything together. So be sure to add a drizzle of hot sauce (they usually give it in a small container in your to-go bag or squeeze it from the hot sauce bottles on the tables) and some black vinegar (also available in bottles on the tables). I promise you they are so scrumptious. Aside from their fried dumplings, they also sell typical fried dumpling shop favorites like scallion pancakes and sweet and sour soups. Be warned that these items are far from healthy; they're quite oily, but really really good if your stomach can handle it. I don't recommend their soy milk unless you like it without sugar. I asked them to add sugar last time, and they just sprinkled in some regular sugar used in cooking, but because the drink was cold so the sugar didn't melt and just sunk to the bottom of the drink. As a result, the soy milk was not sweet. The establishment is truly a hole in a wall always teeming with patrons. Their setup is not the fanciest and it's a bit dim in there. You won't look at it and think it's the cleanest place. But their food is really worth the visit.

If you're looking for a quick bite and cheap eat, this is the place to go. They have a good selection of different classic Chinese dishes ranging from dumplings, scallion pancakes, wontons, noodles... all the comfort food you can think of. We got the 6 piece pork and chive pan-fried dumpling which is less than $3. Even though the dumpling wrapping is a bit too thick for my liking, I really like the fillings inside. They didn't skimp out on the filling and the flavor was on point! I would definitely come back again next time to try the other items. You can easily feed two people with less than $20! Most of the items seems to already have been pre-made so you receive your food quite fast as well. ***CASH ONLY

Hard to find many places that have this level of quality for this low of prices. The dumplings are a perfect snack that you can sauce up however you prefer using soy sauce, vinegar, chili oil, and hot sauce. The spring rolls were unexpectedly outstanding as well--heavy filling, crispy, and not mushy. This is how they should be done!

Nothing beats a good cheap eats, especially when you're hungry and broke. Only have $2.50? That's enough for a plate of fried dumplings at Kai Feng Fu Dumpling House in 8th Avenue, Brooklyn. We got 6 pan-fried pork with chives dumplings. They're a lot more doughier than I'm used to, but the meat is flavorful. After eating one dumpling, I can guarantee you that if you eat all six of them, you will be full on $2.50. Quick service, affordable food. There's no beating the prices at this casual dumpling house.

Solid, affordable spot for dumplings. The prices must be the lowest I've seen for pan fried dumplings: $2.50 for 6 pieces! Super delicious, try it with the vinegar and chili oil. Casual spot with a few tables and it does get crowded but most people just get takeout. Service is fast. Tried the scallion pancake and it almost reminded me of focaccia, wish there were more scallions. Also tried the boiled dumplings but I think the skin is a little thick. I recommend sticking to the pan fried dumplings.
